Some things require preparation, while others don't. Tonight I met Benoit Huget, who was passing through our area as part of his attempt to set the GR34 record.
A small beer next to the RV, as refreshing as the light northerly breeze that has been accompanying him since Sunday along this beautiful coast of Brittany. He set out from Mont Saint-Michel on Sunday. A lovely moment together, before he has to recover from today’s 81-kilometer ride.
Tomorrow will be a beautiful day, when he’ll pass by our gorgeous island of Bréhat on his way to Finistère. Stay strong, Benoit—I don’t know if you need it, but tonight I met someone who’s full of determination.
